  • National Humanities Center - Virtual Podcasting Institute by College of Arts, Languages & Letters, University of Hawai'i at Mānoa

    Revieved scholarship to attend five-day virtual institute which provide hands-on training for college and university faculty and staff, including librarians, digital humanities practitioners, and administrators, to translate research, commentary, and community-sourced narratives into podcast episodes. Working in cross-disciplinary and intra-university teams, participants learn how to express ideas in storyboard form, create and collect audio content, and edit their narrative into an entertaining, powerful podcast. All equipment are provided, and technical support will be given throughout the week.

  • Summer 2022 Student Fellowships for Digital Sonic and Visual Projects - The American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS)

    Summer 2022

    Exhibition on Virtual Museum of Images and Sounds: Changing Iconography, Changing Identity

    Received a fellowship by the American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) to travel to Delhi, India, during the summer of 2022 to research "Adornment of Bodies in Chola Art" using the resources of the two AIIS research centers in India (Archives and Research Center for Ethnomusicology (ARCE) and Center for Art and Archaeology (CA&A)) and resulting in the creation of a digital exhibition for varied audiences.

    The American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) was formed to further the knowledge of India in the United States by supporting American scholarship on India. The programs of AIIS foster the production of and engagement with scholarship on India, and promote and advance mutual understanding between the citizens of the United States and of India. AIIS is committed to equity, inclusion and access to all communities in fulfilling its mission.

  • Student Affiliate, East-West Center

    (2021- 2023)

    The East-West Center Student Affiliate Program was established to expand opportunities for involvement in the programs of the East-West Center. It gives me the opportunity to participate in the Center’s educational, cultural, leadership development, extracurricular programs, and to live in its international residence halls. The Student Affiliate Program provides an opportunity for me to interact on a daily basis with the dynamic international community at EWC.

    EWC: The East-West Center promotes better relations and understanding among the people and nations of the United States, Asia, and the Pacific through cooperative study, research, and dialogue.

    Established by the US Congress in 1960, the Center serves as a resource for information and analysis on critical issues of common concern, bringing people together to exchange views, build expertise, and develop policy options. The Center is an independent, public, nonprofit organization with funding from the US government, and additional support provided by private agencies, individuals, foundations, corporations, and governments in the region.
